Nathan Carman-credibly accused in his grandfather's 2013 murder, he took his mom fishing, she never returned

This saga is one of New England's most interesting and heartbreaking cases. In 2013, a wealthy real estate developer John Chakalos was murdered in his Connecticut home. The last person to see him alive was his twenty-two year old grandson, Nathan Carman, The next morning  Nathan either destroyed or disposed of his computer hard drive and his GPS unit, seemingly without explanation. Nathan, had also purchased a weapon that fired the same caliber ammunition, that killed his eighty-seven year old grandfather. Nathan refused to hand over the weapon, which he had just purchased four weeks prior. The police asked to charge Nathan with murder, but the D.A.'s office wanted more evidence. In 2016 Nathan claimed to have taken his mother fishing off the coast of R.I. Nathan was found seven days later, drifting in the Atlantic Ocean. His mother was no where to be found. He was indicted in his mom's murder this year. Please share this episode!
