It appears we may have a deadlocked jury on the Karen Read case. It has been reported that one juror had been visibly crying, but no further information was forthcoming. Would the State of Massachusetts retry Karen Read, in light of a pending federal investigation? Some law enforcement witness would likely have been arrested by the time a new trial rolled around.
